About these Terms

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Sansa Group AB (org. nr 559111-9507, Soldathemsgatan 20, 415 28 Göteborg, Sweden), which publishes Moonsong under its Sansavision brand ("we", "us"). They cover the Moonsong iOS app, the service behind it and this website.

The app is also licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA"). These Terms add to the Apple EULA; if they conflict, these Terms apply to the extent the Apple EULA allows. Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle personal data.

You accept these Terms when you create an account. The app records which version you accepted.

Who can use Moonsong

• You must be 18 or older and able to enter into a binding contract.
• Moonsong is available in English and only where the App Store offers it. Some features may not be available in every country.
• You may not use Moonsong if we have previously closed your account for a serious breach of these Terms.

Your account

You sign in with your email address using a 6-digit code or a sign-in link. There is no password, so the security of your account depends on the security of your email. Don't share codes or links, and tell us promptly at support@sansavision.com if you think someone else has accessed your account. You can see and end your active sessions in the app.

An account is for one person. You are responsible for what happens in your account.

What Moonsong does

Moonsong helps you turn lyrics or an idea into music. You can write and edit lyrics, ask for an AI lyric draft or revision, set a Song Blueprint, generate a full song or a 30-second clip, compare takes, make a cover from a template or with AI, and export your work.

Please understand how AI music works:

• Every generation is a new AI performance. Results vary, even with the same inputs, and the same voice or melody is not guaranteed between takes.
• Locking a lyric means the text we send to the music model is exactly what you wrote. It does not guarantee the model will sing every word clearly or correctly.
• Lyrics shown with a song are the text you approved. Time-synced lyrics appear only when the provider returns real timing; we never invent it.
• Some models we use are labelled "preview" by their providers. Their availability and behaviour may change, and we may pause a model if it is unreliable.
• Moonsong does not clone voices, imitate real artists, separate stems, or offer note-level editing.

Permission for AI processing

AI features only work after you allow AI processing in the app. You'll see what is sent and to whom before you agree (current AI processing notice: ai-processing-2026-09-24). You can withdraw permission at any time in Profile → Privacy & data; AI features then stop, while manual features keep working. See AI & music rights for details.

Your content

You keep your rights in the lyrics, ideas, notes and other material you put into Moonsong ("your inputs").

So that we can run the service, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, copy, process, format and transmit your inputs and your outputs, including sending them to the AI providers needed for actions you request, only to provide Moonsong to you, keep it safe and meet legal obligations. The licence ends when the content is deleted from our systems, except for copies we must keep by law or that remain in backups until they expire.

We don't publish your projects, show them to other users, or use them to train AI models.

Your responsibilities for inputs

You promise that:

• you wrote your inputs, or you have all the rights and permissions needed to use them in Moonsong and to use the resulting outputs as you intend;
• you won't submit lyrics, text or names in a way that infringes anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights;
• you won't ask Moonsong to imitate or impersonate a real artist, singer or other person, their voice or their identity; and
• you won't include other people's personal information unless you're allowed to.

If you break these promises and someone brings a claim against us as a result, you are responsible to the extent the law allows.

Outputs and what we don't promise

Songs, clips, covers and AI lyric suggestions made in Moonsong ("outputs") are AI-generated. Between you and us, we claim no ownership of your outputs, and we don't restrict what you do with them beyond these Terms, the law and the rights of others.

However:

• AI outputs may be similar to content made for other people or already existing works. Outputs are not exclusive to you.
• Whether an output, or your human contribution to it, is protected by copyright depends on the law where you are. We don't guarantee copyright protection.
• We don't guarantee that a distributor, streaming service, social platform or rights-management system (such as YouTube Content ID) will accept an output, or that it won't be claimed or flagged.
• The Creation Record in your export describes how the work was made (models, versions, times, your lyric revisions, accepted policy versions). It is a workflow record, not a copyright certificate, proof of exclusive ownership or legal clearance.
• Outputs may include watermarks or provenance signals added by providers. Don't remove them, and don't present outputs as not made with AI where that would mislead people or break the law.

Acceptable use

Don't use Moonsong to create, request or share content that:

• sexualises minors in any way, or is sexually explicit;
• threatens, harasses, bullies or targets a real person, or promotes violence or hatred against people based on protected characteristics;
• impersonates a real person, or is designed to deceive people into believing a real person said, sang or endorsed something;
• infringes intellectual property or other rights, or reproduces lyrics you're not allowed to use;
• facilitates fraud, scams or other illegal activity; or
• breaks the usage policies of the AI providers behind Moonsong.

Also don't try to get around safety checks, credit limits or rate limits; access other people's data; reverse engineer or overload the service; use bots or scripts to generate content; or resell access to Moonsong.

Safety checks, removal and appeals

We check text automatically before AI actions run and may block requests that appear to break these Terms or provider policies. We may remove content or restrict features when we receive a valid rights notice or find a breach. We will tell you what happened unless the law or safety reasons prevent it.

You can ask for a person to review any automated block or removal by emailing support@sansavision.com. Rights holders can send notices the same way. See Notice and takedown.

Credits, plans and purchases

Credits. AI actions use credits from a single wallet. The current menu is: full song 12 credits, 30-second clip 7, AI cover 4, AI lyric draft or revision 1. Manual editing, templates, playback and repeated export cost nothing. Before any AI action runs, the app shows its cost and your balance, and nothing is spent until you confirm. We may change credit costs for future actions; the app always shows the current cost before you confirm.

Free introduction. Each newly verified account gets a one-time free introduction of 8 promotional credits (enough for one 30-second clip and one AI lyric draft). Promotional credits are kept separate from paid credits, have no cash value, and may be withdrawn if obtained through abuse, such as creating multiple accounts.

Subscriptions. Creator ($14.99 per month or $149.99 per year, US reference prices) adds 120 credits each month. Studio ($29.99 per month or $299.99 per year) adds 240 credits each month. Annual plans are charged once per year, and their credits are added monthly throughout the paid year. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your iPhone's Settings under your Apple Account → Subscriptions. Deleting the app or your Moonsong account does not cancel a subscription.

Credit packs. 30 credits ($4.99), 70 credits ($9.99) and 150 credits ($19.99), US reference prices.

Prices. The App Store shows the price in your currency, including any taxes it collects. Apple is the seller of record and processes payment.

Paid credits never expire. Credits you buy, and credits added by a paid plan, roll over and stay usable without an active subscription. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred to another account and cannot be exchanged for money, except where the law requires.

When something goes wrong. If a generation fails for a technical reason, such as the provider returning no audio or an invalid file, the credits are restored automatically. If you cancel before a request has been sent to the provider, the credits are released. After it has been sent, the provider may still complete the work, so cancelling doesn't guarantee a refund; any completed result stays available to you. If we can't confirm an outcome, the app shows that we are checking, and restores the credits if no result can be delivered. A take that is technically valid but not to your taste is not automatically refunded; if something is seriously wrong with a result, contact support and we may add goodwill credits at our discretion.

Refunds. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its policies. If Apple refunds a purchase, we reverse the credits that purchase added.

Restoring purchases. Use Restore Purchases in the app to reconnect App Store purchases to your Moonsong account.

Storage, export and retention

Exporting is always free and does not require a subscription. Generated songs, clips and covers are stored in your Moonsong library for 24 months from creation, unless you delete them sooner. We remind you in the app 90, 30 and 7 days before routine deletion so you can export first. Files you have exported to your device are yours to keep. Lyrics and projects stay until you delete them or your account.

Changes and availability

We keep improving Moonsong and may change, add or remove features. If a change significantly reduces what you've paid for, we'll tell you in advance and, where appropriate, offer a remedy such as keeping access to your paid credits on the previous terms or a refund of unused paid value where the law requires. If we ever discontinue Moonsong, we'll give you reasonable notice and time to export your work.

We aim to keep the service available but can't promise it will be uninterrupted. We may pause new generations, specific models, free introductions or new purchases to protect reliability or cost; existing projects and exports are not affected by those pauses. Current state: Status.

Ending your account

You can stop using Moonsong and delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Privacy & data). Deletion is permanent. Unused credits, including paid credits, are lost when you delete your account, so please use or export first. Deleting your account doesn't cancel an App Store subscription; cancel it in Settings.

We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if the law requires it, or to prevent harm. Unless it would be unlawful or unsafe, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to respond, and you can appeal by emailing support@sansavision.com. If we close your account without a breach on your part, we'll give you notice and a chance to export, and treat unused paid credits fairly as required by law.

Disclaimers

Moonsong is provided with reasonable care and skill. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, it is provided "as is": we don't promise that any output will meet your expectations, be error-free, be suitable for a particular purpose, or be free of similarities to other works. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you.

Liability

We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these Terms or our negligence. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or revenue, or loss of data you could have avoided by exporting, and our total liability to you for all claims is limited to the amount you paid for Moonsong in the 12 months before the claim.

These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent or gross negligence, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and they do not affect your statutory consumer rights.

Consumer rights

If you are a consumer, you have mandatory rights under the law of the country where you live that these Terms cannot take away. App Store purchases are made from Apple, and your right of withdrawal and refunds for them are handled under Apple's terms. By starting to use purchased credits you ask for the digital service to begin immediately.

Apple

These Terms are between you and Sansa Group AB, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Moonsong or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and is not responsible for handling claims about it (such as product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims). Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. See the Apple EULA.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms, for example when features, prices or the law change. Each version has an identifier and date at the top of this page. We'll tell you in the app before a material change takes effect. If you don't agree, you can stop using Moonsong and delete your account; paid credits you already hold remain usable under the terms that applied when you bought them until you do.

Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Swedish law. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the EU/EEA, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country, and you can bring proceedings in your local courts. Otherwise, disputes are decided by Swedish courts.

Please contact us first; most issues can be solved quickly. Consumers resident in Sweden can also take disputes to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, arn.se).
